Buy your tickets for 2016 flights from JFK to Malaga Airport
Malaga and the New York are a little closer already. Delta Airlines are offering tickets for direct flights between Malaga Airport and New York’s JFK, which will begin operating on May 27th during the 2016 summer season. Tickets have already been released for sale.
A 210 seat Boeing 767-300 will cover the route, five days a week and by a 164 seat Boeing 757-200 twice a week, Delta has announced today in a public statement.
The route which is operated with partners Air France, KLM and Alitalia will offer WiFi on the plane, which will allow passengers to stay connected while flying even at an altitude of more than 30.000 feet.
Nat Pieper, Delta’s senior vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa said that the investment of the company at New York-JFK’s hub allows the company to “offer the best connectivity in the United States and beyond for those travelling from Spain”.
Pieper added that the USA “is one of the first markets in terms of number of visitors to Andalucía”, so they hope to “respond to the growing demand to travel during the summer season thus promoting tourism”, with more than 2.700 seats a week between Málaga and New York.
